Nicholas John Frost

Birthday:  28th, March  1972

Bithplace:  Romford, Essex, England

Nick left school at age 16 and joined the world of the working class.  Falling in with what some would call the wrong crowd, he frequented many clubs and raves.  A friend told him he needed to get away from this life before he ended up dead.

Heeding his friend's advice, Nick decided to leave his home and country and headed to Isreal to work in the Kibbutz.  He quickly adapted to the strict work regimen and flourished.  It was here that he discovered his love for painting.  One of the jobs he had in the Kibbutz was at an art gallery, and the owner would let him use his supplies to paint.  Nick enjoyed his time there very much.

Nick returned to England with a lady friend, and they worked at a mexican retaurant called Chiquito's in Cricklewood, North London.  He was a world class waiter, entertaining guests as well as serving them.  He held the restaurant record for his ability to spin an amazing 13 trays at one time.  It was here, in 1993, that he met long time colleague and best mate, Simon Pegg.

Nick and Simon shared a flat off and on for over 8 years.  Simon was an aspiring comic at the time, and in 1995 Nick decided to try stand-up comedy.  He has said that he did about a dozen gigs in his short stand-up career, and about half of them were great, the other half, the worst experiences of his life.

In 1999, Simon wrote the part of Mike Watt especially for Nick in the series Spaced.  The character was actually based on a character Nick used to do at the pub to make Simon laugh.

After Spaced, Nick's career as an actor was set in stone, and ever since, it's been pure fried gold.
